The sentence I landed on was from the book Girl Wash Your Face By: Rachel Hollis
The sentence was – Different isn’t unique to them; different is their normal

    If People Were Flowers

Like flowers in a field, different types, colors, sizes and shapes they all serve different purposes
    They dance in the wind
    Breathe in the fresh air
Absorb the fresh water clouds and Earth has to offer
They are best friends with many creatures and humans alike
Sometimes the flowers can be perky and lively
Other times sad and towards the end of their life, but hopefully only for the season
Some take in the flowers beauty and purpose more than others
Flowers are sometimes just there to take in and appreciate
    Maybe they brighten someone’s day
Maybe they mean nothing to some people and go unnoticed
They are just there and serve no real purpose, expensive, and hard to upkeep
Humans are a lot like flowers
If you are able to respect, appreciate them, help them grow maybe we can all grow together
To flowers they are all the same there is no hate casted to the flower next to them
Maybe they even share their water or assist the other’s growth in some way
To them different isn’t unique to them; different is their normal
This is how they create beauty, unity, and growth on Earth

Book-as-oracle produced some magic for you, Jennifer, so topical. My fave: "Maybe they even share their water" --because water is THE source of life, THE foundational life-saving, life-giving, life-keeping thing, plus it's symbolical of emotions, so there's that extra resonance. To share one's water must be the greatest generosity, especially (literally) out where I live, in the West, where water is scarce.

I like this thought! I think we humans create a lot of extra anxiety for ourselves from needing to attach 'productivity' and 'usefulness' to as many things as possible. But taking moments to simply appreciate is such a gift that flowers can give us if we let them. Lovely!

Thank you both for the insight! A wonderful point about water and sharing. Also about being present and thankful for nature.
