We are in the process of finalizing transport from the Waterbury train station. It is looking like the pick-up will be 2:45 p.m., arriving at Wisdom House at approximately 3:15 p.m., at a cost of $20 each way (includes tip).

A note: there is construction going on where the New Haven and Waterbury Branch meet that is requiring a change of train at the temporary Devon Transfer if you are traveling from NY Grand Central Station. It looks as though the transfer process is very straightforward (from the MTA website):

To accommodate the final phase of a $5.8 million priority-repair project on Devon Bridge, a new, temporary transfer point --Devon Transfer--has been built where the Waterbury Branch and New Haven Line meet. Track 3, also known as the inbound local track, will be out of service continuously for six months while the work occurs. As a result, starting Monday, May 4th: All Waterbury Branch customers who usually transfer to main line trains at Bridgeport will instead get off at the new Devon Transfer location, cross the walkway, and wait for a train on Track 1, also known as the inbound express track. Waterbury Branch customers who travel to New Haven will transfer again at Bridgeport for a main line train connection to New Haven. Northbound customers will be dropped off main line trains at the Devon Transfer and board a waiting train for Waterbury .

We should have transport finalized by Wednesday, June 17th at the latest.

    Thanks for your patience!

It is urgent for IWWG to post an approximate pick-up time from Waterbury Train Station to Wisdom House as soon as possible so that those of us traveling by train can coordinate arrival time. Please be aware, train tickets require to be purchased in advance.

This is a second request. Please respond.

    Thank you,

    Elisabeth De Nitto
