Amoafowaa Sefa Cecilia
Amoafowaa Sefa Cecilia is a Ghanaian who hails
from Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She had her secondary education at Kwahu Ridge Secondary Technical School. She holds a BA in English from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and holds a Post Graduate in Education from the University for Development Studies.
Amoafowaa is an Ashoka Changemaker, a Yali
Regional Cohort Fellow, a Kumvana Fellow, a Yher
Fellow and an Alumni of the Ebedi International Writers Residency. She is also a Governing Council Member of the African University College of Communications.
Amoafowaa is a budding entrepreneur and the
founder of the Autism Help Foundation. Her first collection of poetry Poetry Excursion on an African Mind garnered attention from many universities. She lives in Tamale where she teaches as a high school teacher at Tamale Senior High School.
