Diana Eden
Diana Eden has been writing all her life but comes late to writing for publication. Her first book, Retro Chic, co-authored with Gloria LIntermans, was released in 2003, and in 2019 her memoir was published, titled Stars in Their Underwear: My Unpredictable Journey From Broadway Dancer to Costume Designer for some of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars.
It covers aspects of her various careers as a dancer on Broadway in the 1960s, an actress in Hollywood in the 70s, and an Emmy nominated costume designer for prime time TV series and films for the next 35 years.
Since “retiring” to Las Vegas in 2008, Diana has continued to design feature films, teach Costume Design for Film at UNLV, and write this memoir. She has also had numerous articles published in The Costume Designer magazine, PIvotdancer.com, and on travel on Journeywoman.com. She will be one of Journeywoman’s keynote speakers in a 5-day retreat in October, talking about “How to Travel Like a Rock Star in your 80s.”
She credits IWWG’s summer conference in 2019 with teaching her what it really means to write well and thanks all her mentors for their continuing support.
