This is a foray into the power of language and personal meaning. It is about developing (or deepening into) a writing practice that is yours alone: a channel for your voice and experience. We will take a playful, experimental approach, find the places that intrigue and attract us and converse in a relaxed atmosphere. Regan is a writer/artist interested in how sensory and intuited experience gives rise to poetry. In her practice and workshops she curates creative processes designed to access intuition and articulate the relationship between spontaneity, rhythm, stillness and contemplation. Regan is inspired by inclement weather, improvisation, imperfection, poets, mystics, rebel witches and the never-ending quest to find the meeting-point of language, landscape and dance.
