Finding Your Speaking Voice

There is a deep vulnerability in sharing not only your work, but also your voice and allowing yourself to open up your awareness to how you are making sound and how you are being heard. Consider this workshop a safe space to sound like YOU! Embrace your full voice—it is eager to share what you have to say! During this introduction to finding your true speaking voice, we will explore range and stamina through breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, and cold readings as well as navigate confident self-introductions. We will address common erroneous tendencies, staple practices and extend individual guidance during spotlight presentations. I encourage you to share a 1-2 minute portion of pros or poetry you have written that you are proud of, or an external piece you simply love. By the end of our short time together, you will have a foundation to continue building upon the strength of your personal vocality and confidence to present your power!
